Tutor’s Teaching Background

I have experience with both 1-to-1 and small group tutoring for JC students in subjects such as Biology, Chemistry, Math, Chinese and English. Have tutored my cousin Secondary School Chemistry from Secondary 1-4 and she scored A1 during O levels having scored C6 initially before tutoring her. When teaching, I usually try to explain concepts in a simpler and more relatable way instead of just memorising content. I also encourage students to ask questions whenever they are unsure, as I feel learning is easier when students are comfortable speaking up. I also create my own notes and mind maps to help students better understand and visualise concepts. Overall, I try to adapt to each student’s pace and create a more supportive and less stressful learning environment during lessons.
