Tutor’s Teaching Background

Hi ! My name is Jeryl and I am currently a student at NUS studying Computer Science giving private tuition. I am a passionate, dedicated, easy-going and flexible tutor with a proven track record of helping students improve and do well in Mathematics. I am a very patient tutor whose teaching philosophy focuses on helping students understand the concepts instead of painfully blindly memorising formulas. With this approach, students will become better problem solvers and will be able to easily ace their examinations with my guidance. These are my pass tutoring experiences: Tutored 3 Secondary students in 2021 A Math, all 3 improved from a B4 grade to an A1 grade. Tutored 1 Secondary student in 2022 E Math, improved from C5 to A2.
