Tutor’s Teaching Background

Proven track record in transforming student performance through targeted 1-to-1 coaching: JC H2 Chemistry: Successfully guided students from barely passing grades to achieving an 'A' in the GCE A-Levels. Upper Secondary Chemistry: Helped students bridge core conceptual gaps to improve from passing marks to an 'A2' in the GCE O-Levels. Warm, empathetic, and highly responsible tutor dedicated to building student confidence. I employ a student-led, coaching-style methodology that targets specific learning gaps rather than relying on rote memorization. By guiding students through structured questioning and "what-if" scenarios, I encourage deep conceptual understanding and critical thinking, empowering students to tackle complex Chemistry problems independently. Holds a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry (NTU) and B.Sc. (Hons, 2nd Upper) from NUS (Dean's List). Recipient of the NTU CBC Teaching Assistant Award (AY2009/10) for outstanding instructional clarity and commitment. Certified Adult Educator (ACLP 2.0) with extensive experience teaching NTU undergraduate lab modules and conducting Chemistry enrichment programs for top secondary students
