Experience

1-to-1 tutoring in Mathematics and English as a student volunteer for primary school students from underprivileged backgrounds (Mar 2024 – Oct 2024)

Teaching Approach

I am a friendly and responsible tutor who adapts each lesson to the student’s needs and learning pace. I focus on strengthening weaker topics first before reinforcing current school material, helping students build a strong foundation.

I guide students through questions and encourage them to explain their thinking, so they develop real understanding, confidence, and independent problem-solving skills.

I am patient and structured in my lessons, setting clear goals and using short breaks to help students stay focused. I also adjust my approach to keep lessons engaging, especially for students who may be easily distracted.
