Tutor’s Teaching Background

I do not have any professional experience but I do have multiple experiences on tutoring my peers throughout my studies in polytechnic and secondary school. I emerged the top in my class during secondary 3 & 4 and obtained an industry scholarship during my polytechnic studies. I am capable of breaking down the concepts and topics further and explain if applicable, how all those formulas can be used in conjunction with others and identify weak points that the tutee is weak in.  During Polytechnic: I participated in Peer Tutoring sessions conducted for two semesters, mainly for Computing Math 1 & 2 and Programming Essentials. During these sessions, I tutored my peers and clarified any doubts they had after the lectures presented by the lecturers. These topics range from Relations, Functions, Linear Regression, Probability Distributions to the Application of programming to problems requiring structured thinking.   During Secondary School: As a student whom tends to grasp application-based subjects quickly and link each concept learnt in each topic to others, I was approached my schoolmates during Secondary 3 to Secondary 4 to tutor them in Elementary Math as well as Combined Science (Physics, Chemistry). For Elementary Math, it was mainly Geometry and Measurement (Mensuration and Vectors in two dimensions), and Statistics and Probabilities (Data Handling and Analysis), whereas for Combined Science (Physics, Chemistry), it was mainly Thermal Physics, Waves and Chemical Reactions.
