Tutor’s Teaching Background

During my previous tutoring experience, I supported secondary school students in Lower Secondary Art and Upper Secondary Design & Technology over a 4-month internship diploma period. My role involved helping students better understand subject requirements, improve their design thinking, and apply technical skills more confidently in their coursework.

I assisted students by breaking down lesson content into clearer and more manageable steps, especially for topics involving design processes, visual presentation, Computer-Aided Design software, and 3D modelling. I also helped bridge the gap between secondary school design expectations and the more technical standards used at polytechnic level, allowing students to develop a stronger foundation for future design-related studies.

In addition, I converted physical lesson materials into online learning packages, making the content more accessible and easier for students to revise independently. Through consistent guidance, students were able to approach their assignments with greater confidence, improved clarity, and a more structured understanding of the design process.
