Tutor’s Teaching Background

Dear parents, I am a private Chinese tutor from China. Since relocating to Singapore in primary 1, I have consistently maintained outstanding Chinese language proficiency, securing an A grade from primary 1 to secondary 4, and achieving an A grade in PSLE and an A1 in O Level. My teaching expertise spans from primary 1 to primary 6, as well as secondary 1 to secondary 5. In the past year of teaching, all my students have shown notable improvement and progress in their academic performance. Teaching methods: 1) Recognizing that every student progresses at their own pace, I tailor a customized learning plan for each student to enhance their understanding of texts and proficiency in using vocabulary and idioms. I can also provide explanations in both languages to ensure clarity. 2) I will explain the text to the students in advance before the school teacher, ensuring that they fully understand the meaning of each text, making it easier for them to follow the content taught by the teacher in school. 3) After completing each chapter, I will provide exam papers for my students, covering oral skills, listening comprehension, multiple-choice questions, comprehension exercises, and essay writing to prepare them for examinations. I will provide all necessary learning materials to support my students in their academic endeavors.
