Tutor’s Teaching Background

I am a full-time Math Tutor with 15 years in primary, secondary (IP, A & E-Math) and JC (H1/H2) math. I graduated from NUS Master & Bachelor (Honours), with certificates of distinction in Australian Math Competitions and Math Olympiads, scored A* in PSLE Math, A1 in O-Levels’ pure A-Math & E-Math, A in A-Levels H2 Math. Aside from Math, I also teach primary science and secondary Physics / Chemistry. I have taught many kinds of students, including those with learning difficulties and those in gifted programmes. Every student needs different “cheat-sheet notes” and I can tailor customised study hacks to each student immediately every lesson. Hence, I have many testimonials of my students’ Math grades improvement from fail to A/B/C within 3 months. Most have maintained A/B in their subsequent exams. I am a patient and approachable teacher who consistently strengthen student’s weaker topics, recap concepts and common exams questions. Students will find my lessons engaging and my ability to dissolve difficult questions into simplest explanation and solutions. Students and parents also have access to free consultation of questions on WhatsApp with me everyday. I provide regular and timely feedback to students and parents so that necessary tailored interventions can be done early. My current math students include JC, IP, IB, N level, O levels and PSLE students, coming from neighbourhood schools and IP schools such as Hwa Chong Institution. Tuition can be done 1-to-1 or maximum group of 3, Face-to-Face and/or Virtual.
