Tutor’s Teaching Background

Hello, my name is Safinah. I’m a graduate from National University of Singapore with experience helping students strengthen their understanding through clear explanations and patient guidance. I believe in creating a supportive learning environment where students can learn at their own pace, build confidence, and enjoy the process of learning. Over the past 2 years, I’ve tutored about 5 students one-on-one in Tamil, Biology, English, Geography, and Science, helping them build both academic performance and confidence. My teaching focuses on clarity, engagement, and adaptability, with lessons tailored to suit each student’s learning style. Currently, I am teaching 4 students, whom are all P6. I also conduct diagnostic assessments to identify early gaps, build strong exam techniques, and create a supportive environment. I also provide my own materials. 1. I always prepare customised materials and practice questions to target each student’s weak areas, instead of relying only on textbooks or worksheets. 2. I don’t mind staying back after lessons to clarify doubts or review challenging questions. I want my students to leave each session feeling confident. 3.
