Tutor’s Teaching Background

I have been tutoring since 2021, with approximately 5 years of teaching experience across both 1-to-1 tuition and tuition centres. I currently teach Secondary 3 and 4 Mathematics and Chemistry at tuition centres, and am familiar with helping students prepare for school examinations and O-Level style questions. For Chemistry, I focus on building a strong understanding of key concepts before applying them to structured and calculation-based questions. I also work on answering techniques, identifying common misconceptions and improving students’ accuracy through targeted practice and review of past mistakes. I am a Chemical Engineering graduate from NTU, which gives me a strong foundation in Chemistry and related scientific concepts. I am able to adapt lessons according to the student’s weaker topics and learning pace, and I am committed to long-term teaching and consistent progress.
