Tutor’s Teaching Background

I was involved in a neighbourhood tutoring programme at mountbatten for 2 years where i taught several secondary and primary school students. From there, I was able to adopt different teaching styles depending on the student's needs. For example, having more timely breaks for students who are unable to focus for long period of time. When i faced students that are weaker at the subject, i will adjust the teaching pace and make sure they understand before moving on. The students were able to improve their grades to at least a B grade.  I am able to prepare notes and materials for the students. I am aware of the current syllabus and know what to emphasise on. My aim is to make sure the student is ahead of what the school is teaching. I came from an IP school so i am also capable of teaching IP students.
