Tutor’s Teaching Background

Many students struggle with weak GP foundations, unclear feedback, and uncertainty about how to improve. My role is to guide them with clarity, structure, and consistent support all the way to the A Levels. I am a PhD student in Communications and former MOE teacher, with 16 years of experience teaching and coaching GP. I have taught hundreds of students in school and coached more than 30 privately. Across these years, students who put in steady effort have improved meaningfully—from E/S/U to at least a C, with some moving from U to B, or from D/E to A. My coaching strengthens both language and content mastery, beginning with rebuilding core foundations. Lesson time is focused on targeted teaching, while timed practices are completed outside class to maximise learning. Students receive prompt, actionable feedback, and all materials are prepared and adapted to the H1 8881 syllabus. If I am unavailable for a session, make‑up lessons or virtual lessons will be arranged. Students who prefer fully virtual lessons may also opt for that format.
