Tutor’s Teaching Background

I'm an economics and GP tutor with a First Class Honours in Economics & Public Policy from NTU and a Master’s in Public Health (Health Economics) from NUS. I’ve co-authored 16 scientific publications, five of which focus on health economics, and have won the prestigious Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy (LKYSPP) Case Study Award twice, in 2024 and 2025. These achievements reflect my strong academic foundation and passion for research, which I bring to my teaching.

When it comes to teaching, I focus on making difficult concepts accessible and engaging. With over 4-5 years of experience, including teaching at a top-tier tuition centre, I break down complex ideas into simple, clear explanations and use relatable examples to help students understand how concepts applies to real-life situations. Whether it’s for exam preparation or fostering critical thinking, my goal is to ensure students not only do well academically but also develop a deeper, more practical understanding of the subject.
