About Me NJC IP graduate | 86.25 Rank Points | A in H2 Math, H2 Physics & H1 GP I scored A grades in H2 Math, H2 Physics and H1 General Paper in my A-Levels, and I've been tutoring since my days in National Junior College's IP programme. Having been through the IP system myself, I understand the pace, the expectations and the exam style, which is especially useful for NJC students, since I know how your school's papers and teaching approach work. What I teach: Secondary/IP Math and Physics (Chemistry as well but more towards IP syllabus) JC Mathematics (H2 and H1) JC Physics (H2 and H1) How I teach: Every student loses marks for different reasons. I start by pinpointing exactly where yours are being lost, whether it's weak concepts, careless mistakes or exam technique, and then work on those areas directly. For difficult questions, I break down the approach step by step so students understand why a method works rather than just memorising it. That is how complex concepts finally click. I also know how stressful the fast-paced secondary school and JC years can be. When a result is disappointing, I help students regroup, stay motivated and look ahead. Many of my students have improved significantly under this approach, and several have gone on to NUS, NTU and SMU. Beyond the classroom: During National Service, I continued tutoring online while also training new personnel in my Navy unit, guiding them through the steep learning curve of becoming marine engineers. Many went on to excel in and out of service, and one even received an award from the President of Singapore. It taught me patience and how to explain technical content clearly to learners starting from zero.
