Tutor’s Teaching Background

I have been tutoring students ranging from Primary School to Junior College level for the past 4 years. Tutoring them 1-to-1, many of my students see consistent improvements to their results and excel in their final exams. I specialise in teaching subjects such as English, Math and Science for Primary School students, Math, Physics and Chemistry for Secondary School students and Math, Physics and Economics for Junior College students. As students have different learning needs, I also cater to the pace of my students and can shift my focus based on their preference to enhance their learning. I will also provide my students with supplementary questions and learning materials to boost their exposure to questions. I hope to create a fun but strict learning environment where my students enjoy my lessons and feel at ease clarifying their doubts with me while completing their work punctually.Before tutoring students externally, I was a mentor in my Junior College’s mentorship programme where I taught students for H2 Mathematics and H2 Economics for their GCE A Levels. Communicating my ideas and practising how to teach has really strengthened my teaching skills and I am confident I can help my students better their understanding of their subjects and excel in their exams.
