Tutor’s Teaching Background

I volunteered weekly as a tutor with Filos Community Services, supporting primary school students who needed extra guidance in English and Math. I assisted them with homework, explained concepts in simpler ways, and created lesson plans tailored to their learning needs. I developed additional exercises and activities to help students grasp difficult concepts, and adapted my teaching methods to suit each student’s pace and understanding. I also prepared short review sessions to reinforce previous lessons and monitored their progress over time. Beyond academics, I encouraged participation and questions during lessons, helping students build confidence in their abilities. I coordinated with fellow tutors to share strategies and resources, ensuring a consistent and effective learning experience. Through this, I contributed to creating a supportive and structured environment where students could engage actively and improve steadily.
