Tutor’s Teaching Background

In 2023, I took P4 and P5 students and will continue to take them for 2024 (P5&P6). Thus, if parents engage me, I’ll be able to exchange methods that are used to teach in the different schools. I am also friendly yet firm when need be. My way of teaching would be to allow student to think first before providing them with the correct answer. I believe that I have left a good impression to both the kids and their parents. Other than that, I focus on ways to score the maximum marks, as I believe that every step counts. I personally got A* for PSLE Math. Math has been my strongest subject in my whole educational journey: Triple Math (Emath, Amath, POA) in Secondary School, and Calculus 1-3 (Engineering) in University. Additionally, I take notes and explore ways on how the student is able to learn and absorb, example: visual representation by making images 3D and not only relying on pen and paper, or even using daily objects to exemplify quantities.
