Tutor’s Teaching Background

I am a Senior Head Trainer for Verbal  at Prep Zone Academy. At this centre, I have exemplified my commitment to building and improving the training program for many standardize testing, including GMAT, by revamping the course contents for these tests. Besides that, I manage both our part-time and full-time trainer, making sure classes are delivered with exceptional standards.    Previously, I was attached to Inti International College Subang, a college owned by Laureate Education . Over the past years, I have taught Technical English, Writing Skills, Public Speaking, English Language Skills II, Business English and the Laureate English Programme. I also taught the Cambridge A-Levels programme, and I currently teach School Syllabus such as the Cambridge IGCSE, Edexcel GCSE, and the International Baccalaureate.    I have graduated from PhD, and my research and dissertation focused on Domestic Violence as portrayed in Malaysian Literature in English.     My teaching jobs have prepared me well in working excellently as an Educator, and I have approximately sixteen years experience of teaching in private institutions. Besides that, I have also written a few articles for my lecturer while working as a Research Assistant. Furthermore, I presented at the 2013 Solls Intec Conference.   I believe that my teaching experiences combined with my course work and research background make me a strong candidate for the position I am interested in. Above all, I am very hard working, am passionate about teaching, and am able to build trust with my students. I have also earned high marks for the quality of my classroom teaching, methodology, and lesson planning.     I have always been passionate about teaching, and I bring that energy into the classroom, encouraging my students to see each step of the learning process as a dynamic way to develop their ideas and to express their individual strengths. Besides that, I am versatile, positive and adventurous!
