Tutor’s Teaching Background

Despite not having formal tutoring experience, I am highly motivated to grow my journey as a tutor and gain hands-on experience in this field. I have always enjoyed working with children and find great fulfillment in guiding them through learning in a patient and engaging manner. I plan to follow the school syllabus closely and tailor each lesson based on the student’s progress, focusing on weak areas and upcoming topics.   Currently, I regularly support my niece (7) and nephew (5) at home through interactive play, basic learning activities for English, Malay, Mathematics, and guided conversations aimed at supporting their cognitive development, communication skills, and curiosity. Through this, I have learned the importance of adapting teaching methods to a child’s age, attention span, and learning style, while maintaining a positive and encouraging environment.   I am eager to start somewhere, continue learning, and develop my teaching skills through real experience. I am committed, patient, and genuinely passionate about helping children grow, learn, and build confidence in their abilities.
