Tutor’s Teaching Background

In JC, I volunteered at St Hilda's Link, where I mentored 2 sisters, one P6 and the other P5 under my Youth Club CCA. After A Levels, I proceeded to tutor another family consisting of a  pair of K2 and P3 siblings as well as another pair of siblings, of which one is P1 and the other P5. I teach them a variety of subjects ranging from math to chinese depending on their needs and requests. I have also been actively volunteering at a student care centre called MightyKFC located at Telok Blangah, where I helped students ranging from K1 to JC with their school homework. In the past years, I have tutored a Primary 3 student on Math and Chinese, a Primary 6 student on Math, a Primary 5 student on English, a Secondary 3 student on E Math and English, as well as a Secondary 4 student on E Math (Express). I will first help my students out with their school work and explain the concepts which they do not understand and ensure that they are able to complete their school work independently. Following which, I will source for extra materials online if they need more practice. I also encourage my students to whatsapp me with any problem that they might encounter at any time and I will answer their questions as soon as I can.
