Highest Qualification: Nanyang Technological University, Chinese Studies Details of experience: Greetings! My name is Yin Shuo, currently majoring in Chinese Studies at Nanyang Technological University. I’m bilingual and is a Chinese native speaker. My specialisation in Chinese include linguistics, conversational Chinese and creative writing. I always try to provide a systematic way of learning and build up the student’s confidence step-by-step. I would tailor my lesson according to your individual needs. Moving on, I plan to take a HSK Chinese Professional Certificate Test. Relevant Teaching Experience: I was taking 2 primary school student, one in p4, the other p5, I managed to improve my p4 student from a failing 44 to 56-60 passing. And for my p5 student her problem is not about passing but she’s not scoring on composition, so I focused more on that, asking her to memorise phrases and words/成语 from my ppt, so then I kept focusing on that and make sure she knows what she’s writing. Had some experience teaching secondary school students as well, mostly secondary 1 & 2 students on improving their vocabulary as well.
