Tutor’s Teaching Background

Hi all, I am an A level graduate, looking to help improve the grades of others. I was from the IP track, scoring 86.25 for my A levels. I am proficient in all subjects, especially in H2 Math and H2 Biology. All subjects in primary/secondary level are proficient too. In J1 I have taught two students who improved in their Maths from a B4 to an A1. I usually go through items topically with them, before giving them a quiz at the end of each topic to check for understanding. There, I recognise places that they did well in, while addressing places for improvement. I prefer to teach by giving them perspectives to see the same concept with, so that they may learn more deeply, and so that the concepts would be more memorable for them. I encourage questions in class, because I believe that by asking, we learn a lot more, and this would ultimately translate into better grades for the student.
