Tutor’s Teaching Background

Have been a private tutor for mainly primary school students for about 4 years now. Have also taught phonics for pre school kids. Also do bridging programme for my students during school holidays so that they would have a head start. Bridging programmes are focused on the syllabus expected to learn as well as improving on the student's weaknesses. Therefore, each bridging programme would be specifically tailored to each student.

Grade improvement for students have been from 60% to 80%-85% (Primary school english, math and science). Am very familiar with the syllabus and if needed, will customize worksheets accordingly to the kid's needs. 

Regarding phonics, I have tutored kids who were not able to recognize and read at all but with my material and patience, they are able to read fluently now and are more than ready for their primary school education.

Have also taught international students from Middleton Internation. Improvmenet in English, Math and Science from 60% to over 80% for their final exams. Taught Grade 7 and 11.

As an extremely patient and interactive teacher, my students often enjoy having lessons with me and some even requesting for more lessons. I believe that the key to teaching is both patience and engagement.
