Tutor’s Teaching Background

I have been providing tuition and academic coaching since February 2025 as a Freelance Tuition Teacher with Star Destiny Management Consultancy, teaching AEIS and international students from China. I provide one-to-one and small-group tuition in Accounting, Economics, Business, Science, Mathematics, and Statistics, with a focus on helping students strengthen conceptual understanding, improve examination techniques, and build confidence in answering structured questions. In addition, I have experience as a Freelance Trainer and Curriculum/Courseware Developer since February 2023, where I conduct lessons for youths and adult learners in areas such as workplace communication, digital literacy, professional skills, AI awareness, customer engagement, and business-related subjects. My teaching approach is learner-centred, structured, and exam-focused. I prepare lesson materials, practice exercises, revision notes, and targeted explanations based on each learner’s ability level. I am also ACLP 2.0 certified and currently pursuing the WSQ Diploma in Design and Development of Learning for Performance (DDDLP 2.0). This gives me a strong foundation in lesson planning, learner engagement, blended learning, classroom facilitation, and competency-based assessment. My background in Psychology also helps me adapt my teaching style to different learner needs and learning behaviours.
