Tutor’s Teaching Background

I have 12 years of teaching experience, from 1-1 volunteer teaching with primary-aged students from underprivileged backgrounds to being a teacher in a special education school (7+ years) for primary-aged students with mild intellectual disability and co-existing conditions such as ASD, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, degenerative diseases and other medical conditions. I am also an ECDA-certified L2 English and Malay teacher, and MOE-trained special educator. I have a passion for working with students with special needs, combining knowledge of early childhood and special education to commitedly provide supportive environments for those with diverse learning abilities. I am skilled in leveraging student and parent feedback to create holistic learning experiences that address students strengths and weaknesses, resulting in learner engagement.
