Tutor’s Teaching Background

1. For every lesson, I like to start with the main topic for that lesson e.g Fractions, Angles etc. From there, I will first explain the main concept of the topic, followed by introducing basic questions that the student may encounter. Lastly, I will continue giving the student practice on more challenging questions that may appear during exams. By doing this, students will be fully equipped with different question solving methods for different questions. 2. I had 1 primary 5 and 1 primary 6 student that improved from an AL4 to AL1 and AL3 to AL1 respectively, for their major exams/PSLE 3. I like to keep my lessons fun and exciting while productive at the same time. i believe that it is important to ensure that the students don’t dread coming for lessons so that they will be motivated during lessons and will pay attention to the concepts taught. I plan to connect with them by being a patient and understanding tutor to them so as to create an environment where they are comfortable to ask questions for any doubts that they may have. I will also let them watch videos related to the topics when applicable so as to keep the students interested in the lesson.
