Tutor’s Teaching Background

I have a lot of experience in teaching math and Tamil language and I am familiar with the content. Teaching requires a lot of patience and I am qualified for that. I hope to teach primary and lower secondary school students as these years are where students develop the foundation for future studies and I want to create a strong base for them. I believe that teaching students from the basic (even if they already know the content) is very important as the content only builds from the basics. It would also be a good refresher for students and it would really drill the concept into them. After teaching the basics I would do some examples with them. Then, they would be given practice questions so that they have a feel of doing the questions alone. I would then go through with them addressing their concerns and reteaching their weaker areas. I believe this teaching method is really effective as it worked very well for me and my friends even till now in University. For the Tamil language, I would pretty much use this method but would tweak it according to students as different people have different weakness like spelling or oral communication. I am also a native tamil speaker and I have achieved A for all my tamil examinations.
