Tutor’s Teaching Background

I did chemistry in NUS for 4 years, I took up advanced chemistry modules in physical chemistry concepts. Unsurprisingly, these modules were incredibly difficult but when i fully understood the concept, i was excited to teach them to my fellow peers. My ability to simplify complex concepts and allow my peers to understand them is what makes me a good teacher. Furthermore, i believe that fundamental concepts are incredibly important (it's futile to move on to complex concepts without fully understanding basic concepts - something I gathered over my 4 years of learning chemistry). Throughout my 4 years in NUS, my peers would come to me for help in modules that we took together and i am always thrilled to see that relieved look on their faces when they truly understand a particular concept. Moreover, i would say that i'm patient - I have no issues having to explain the same concept more than once as long as my student is able to understand it comprehensively. I do admit i lack proper teaching experience, but i am confident that i am willing to help your son/daughter improve tremendously in chemistry.
