Tutor’s Teaching Background

- Am a student with much experience in critical analysis and literature and have a strong and high command of the English Language. - Scored A for English Language in the PSLE (Raffles Girls' Primary School) - Scored A1s in English Language and Literature in English at O Levels (Cedar Girls' Secondary School) - Scored As in English Literature and English Language and Linguistics (ELL) in JC and was in the Hwa Chong Institution Humanities Programme as a scholar. (Also took Knowledge and Inquiry at the H2 level, which requires high skill in critical analysis and reasoning) - Willing to discuss realistic timelines with student as well as advise on how to practice and prepare for any examinations. Will do my best to access to share what I know about the marking schemes for different papers and am willing to spend time going through these with the student to ensure they understand what is being asked of them to produce. Have experience marking and crafting lesson material for primary school students as well. - Tutor is well read and familiar with deep critical analysis techniques and has consistently performed well for essay based subjects. Would prefer online tutoring as I am currently an undergraduate student studying overseas! Will be able to commit long term as an online tutor :) Am also pretty flexible with my timings and can discuss with my tutee by the week.
