Tutor’s Teaching Background

Alevel H2 Chemistry

I have been teaching JC 1 and JC 2 H2 Chemistry since 2016 during JC Days. I learnt H2 Chemistry in Sec 3 and 4 and I was the chairman of the Peer Tutoring Programme in ACJC. I was a Bronze Medalist in the Singapore Chemistry Olympiad. I taught at least 5 students in H2 Chemistry. 

Proper tutoring started in 2019. Two JC 2 Students improved from U to A and U to C respectively in H2 Chemistry from Prelims to Alevels.

Olevel Pure Triple Science / Double Maths

In 2019, I taught an Olevel student (Kent Ridge) in Double Maths and Combined Science (Chem/Phy), she achieved all As in Olevels.

This year, I have taught 
2 students in Triple Pure Sciences and Double Maths, 
1 student in Pure Physics, Pure Chemistry and Double Maths,
1 student in Pure Chemistry.

One of the Triple Science Students (Fairfield Methodist) got A1 for the Double Math, Pure Biology, and B3 for Chem and Phy in the recent prelims (he improved from D7 to A1 for Bio, and D7 to B3 for Chem, L1R5 decreased from 31 to 13). The Pure Chemistry Student got a B and was the highest in class.

The other two improved from a D to a B standard. (St Margaret's)

I have Pure Physics and Pure Chemistry notes, and can teach Triple Science. I also have exam papers. I know what to memorise for the sciences.
