Tutor’s Teaching Background

- Awarded the Good Progress Achievement Edusave Award for J2 Prelims - Peer tutor in J2 for General Paper - Tutored peers for GP subject in an informal school setting. Vetted and commented on peer essays, where my tutoring sessions gained approval from GP tutor Ms Sarah Christian (winner of Inspiring Teacher of English Award 2024)- Multiple essays written during examinations were submitted to Victoria Junior College’s publishment, Kaleidoscope- Consistent A grade throughout J2- Consistently a top GP performer throughout J2, always in top quintile of cohort - Attained a B in Literature in English for J2 Prelims, 2nd quintile in cohort.- While Literature as a subject has very volatile content, I am equipped with the skills needed to excel in Literature (close reading, essay organisation, argumentation etc) - Graduated from Victoria School Integrated Programme with a 4.0 in Math and 4.0 in Chemistry - I occasionally tutor my 2 younger siblings, aged 12 and 9 in 2025, by helping them through assessment books and explaining each question they are unsure of. I have done this for English, Maths and Science. My siblings remark that my explanations are thorough and engaging, as I often use drawings to aid in visualisation and deepen their understanding of the content at hand.
