Tutor’s Teaching Background

Teaching Style: Students perceive me as approachable and friendly. They feel at ease with my teaching techniques, which are designed to be fun and engaging as much as possible. I consistently motivate them to strive for improvement with mini reward systems, to enhance their confidence in the subject. However, I am also prepared to be strict when necessary, depending on the student's behaviour. Records of Students: 1. Current G2 Secondary Math student improved from D7 to A2 for end of year paper in 2024 2. PSLE 2020, 2 students managed to score A (Previously from C and D), and 1 student scored B (previously F) for their Math paper 3. PSLE 2021: 1 Student improved from F to B for Math and C to A for Science 4. P4 English improved from D to B for mid year exam 2021 6. Sec 3 Express Chemistry student improved from C6 to A2 for end of year exam 2022 7. Sec 3 Express Biology student improved from F9 to B3 for mid year exam 2023 7. P5 Science improved from B to A for end of year exam 2023 7. 2024 PSLE Student passed all subjects after 3 months of lessons (Previously failed everything) 8. P5 Math improved from C to B for end of year exam 2024 Other pointers: I will prepare a small test for the student during the 1st lesson and check their school work to understand the student’s progress. Then I will prepare the necessary materials on the next lesson according to the student’s needs. Material fee will be collected from the parents (if necessary)
