I was enrolled in Changkat Primary School where I scored 270 for my PSLEs in a year where the highest result achieved was 275. Following which, I was enrolled in Raffles Institution from 2014-2019 where I achieved 90 rank points and 7 out of 7 possible distinctions. I am awarded the Renaissance Engineering Programme Scholarship, currently awaiting matriculation in the eponymous programme in NTU in AY22/23 pursuing concurrently a Bachelor of Engineering Science and a Master of Science in Technology Management.
Tutor’s Teaching Background
While in Raffles Institution, I had achieved straight As for my H2 subjects (PCME) in the prelims leading up to the A-Levels where I had achieved 90 rank points with 7 out of 7 possible distinctions. Through constant self-improvement and trial & error, I was able to pull up my grades from D at the start of JC1 to where I am now without the aid of tuition. I believe I will be able to successfully share my experience and impart my methods to your child through my outgoing and amicable personality. My study methods will be applicable across all levels of academia, especially so for exam-prep purposes.
I was selected to tutor my JC2 schoolmates on a peer-support basis in 2019 due to my performance in the school exams. I was able to help one of my schoolmates improve from a U in Physics at the end of JC1 to an A in the A-Level Examinations.
I was also involved in the 1-on-1 tuition of underprivileged primary children from 2016-2017 as a member of the school's Interact Club.
