Tutor’s Teaching Background

 I have been teaching for 5 years and have guided over 30 students during this time. My teaching experience spans Mathematics(Secondary Math), Chinese(Primary and lower secondary), and Science(Primary and Lower Secondary. I deeply value respect, believing that mutual respect is essential for a positive learning environment.

My teaching philosophy centers around making learning an enjoyable experience. I design structured lesson plans for each session and incorporate engaging activities to capture students’ attention and sustain their interest in the subject. I am a strong advocate of recognizing and rewarding effort. 

I have received many feedback from parents that the child really enjoyed my lessons and eventually their result went up! One of my student was once scoring less than 20 for his exam and after 3 months he managed to pass his exam. 

Another instance is where my student that was scoring AL 6 for prelims and went up to AL 4 for Science in her PSLE  in less than half a year. When they expressed their gratitude for their achievement, it was a profound reminder of the impact a dedicated teacher can have.

I firmly believe that education can transform a person’s life and future. This conviction drives me to take every teaching opportunity seriously and strive to help my students reach their academic potential. I am committed to supporting my students on their educational journeys and empowering them to achieve their goals.
