Tutor’s Teaching Background

I specialize in tutoring English and Creative Writing. Having been highly passionate about the English language and Creative Writing since young, I am excited to instill the same love for language in the next generation. The people around me describe me as patient, responsible, trustworthy and reliable. I always take pride in everything I do and do it to the best of my abilities.   My Academic Achievements include the SGIS Scholarship which I obtained in 2020, Dean's List in Semester 2 of the NUS Academic Year 2018/2019, as well as 4 Distinctions (for General Paper, Math, Geography, and Project Work) in my A Levels under Victoria Junior College, to name a few.   I taught private home tuition during my undergraduate years to 2 students. The first student was in Primary 3, to whom I taught English. The other student was in Primary 5, to whom I taught Creative Writing.   The Primary 3 student's English grades improved from the barely passing range to the 90 mark range. The Primary 5 student's Creative Writing grades also jumped from the low 60 mark range to the high 90 mark range.
