Tutor’s Teaching Background

I am a dedicated and passionate H2 Mathematics tutor with experience teaching since 2023. Over the past two years, I have worked with a total of 10 students, and I am currently guiding 2 students in preparation for their A-Level exams. Having scored an A in H2 Mathematics myself, I am very familiar with the MOE syllabus and the demands of the A-Level curriculum. My teaching style is structured yet flexible, aimed at helping students grasp key mathematical concepts, develop problem-solving skills, and build the confidence needed to tackle both standard and challenging questions. My approach focuses on building strong foundational understanding before moving into higher-order thinking and application. I tailor each lesson to meet the individual needs of my students. Whether it’s revisiting weak topics, clarifying doubts from school lectures, or practicing past-year papers. I also emphasize exam strategies such as time management, question analysis, and efficient answering techniques. I strongly believe that every student can improve with the right guidance and mindset. I aim to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and are motivated to do their best. Many of my students have shown marked improvement in both their grades and confidence levels after a few months of consistent tutoring. I provide regular feedback to students, and I’m committed to tracking progress so that we stay on course toward achieving academic goals
