Tutor’s Teaching Background

I’m a full-time tutor and have an honours degree in guidance and counselling. I specialise in teaching primary school students with weak background in Chinese. The students I teach are from mixed families who don’t speak Chinese at home. I scored distinctions for O Level Orals in Chinese and Higher Chinese. I am a patient teacher and would first aim to understand the difficulties that the child faces. To help students understand Chinese better, I would explain in English first then Chinese. I am also a volunteer for the Dyslexia Association of Singapore to help children with their learning difficulties. I’m able to start from 1st December. The lesson timing and days can be further discussed.
