Tutor’s Teaching Background

While I don't have long-term students with whom I've coached extensively to demonstrate significant grade improvements, my teaching experiences have allowed me to make a positive impact. Many of the individuals I've assisted were for short durations, as I wanted to balance my commitments during my own studies. What I can share is that some of the students I've worked with have appreciated my approach to problem-solving. I often reframe problems in a way that encourages them to think about the subject matter differently, which has proven to be a valuable aspect of my teaching style. I am quite patient, and so I believe I will be able to teach him well without feeling frustration. I also cannot focus well when I study things I do not find an interest in, so perhaps I can relate to him and teach him some ways that may help him find interest in the subject to motivate him to study. Having taken and achieved A in H2 Math and H2 Physics + H2 Chemistry, I also am well equipped to teach him things beyond the syllabus should he have an interest in them, or give more in depth explanation to encourage understanding rather than memorising.
