Tutor’s Teaching Background

My own academic results reflect my proficiency, with an A1 in O-Level Chinese A1 and A2 in Higher Chinese. I am familiar with P1-P6 syllabus. I have been tutoring in Berries World of Learning for 2 years and 8 months. Meanwhile, I have all learning materials (composition, comprehension and oral) from 汪老师. I will mainly focus on the technique for answering comprehension questions and the technique for writing essay. For every lesson, I will ask students to memorise a good sentence (佳句) that can be commonly used in their essay or oral. Besides the techniques, I will play some games with the students when learning new words. In addition, I will also do some HAN YU PIN YIN, synonyms and antonyms and punctuation exercises frequently to make sure that they are well engaged in these topics. I will have a spelling test twice a week to prepare them in words correcting exercises and help them to write essay easily. Last but not least, as a young tutor, it makes it easier for me to relate to this age's experience and challenges. This helps me to build a stronger communication and creates a more comfortable learning environemnt. I take time to ensure students feel comfortable asking questions and expressing their difficulties. My goal is to create a positive, supportive environment where he/she can grow both academically and personally.
