Tutor’s Teaching Background

Tutored a total of 4 students across 1.5 years, helping them jump 2-3 grades up. Qualifications for Geography: J2 Prelims - A, J2 A-Levels - A, Pure Geography - A1. I had offered tutoring as part of a newly established Geography self-interest group in my year, helping 1 J1 and 1 J2 student jump 1 grade up. My grades in Geography have also enabled me to be 1 of the 5 committee members in charge of planning a Geography exchange trip to Ho Chi Minh. After a short slump of some Bs in J1, I had consistently been scoring As for my J2 year. To do so, I had compiled 380 pages worth of notes, model essays, fieldwork samples, and model answer. Some of which have gone through vetting by my Geography teachers and other students who had been consistently getting As for Geography. As a tutor, I’m flexible to the needs and demands of the student so I will change my teaching style to suit her if necessary.
