Tutor’s Teaching Background

3 years of private tuition experience teaching English and Mathematics at Upper Primary and Lower Secondary levels. Familiar with guiding students of this age range. Over this period, I have helped students achieve significant grade improvements, including a P6 student who progressed from a C to an A in Mathematics within two terms, and a Secondary 1 student whose English comprehension scores rose from below 50% to consistently above 70%.

I hold a strong academic foundation, having completed 6 years of the Integrated Programme at Victoria School and Victoria Junior College, and obtained my GCE "A" Levels there. I am a degree graduate from Singapore Management University (Business, Finance).

My teaching approach emphasises building genuine conceptual understanding rather than rote memorisation, using structured methods such as model drawing and heuristics for Math, and comprehension technique training and composition planning for English. I provide regular progress updates to parents after each lesson to ensure full visibility into my student's development.
