Tutor’s Teaching Background

I’m a patient and engaging tutor who specialises in Science and is willing to teach more of english, especially Biology and Chemistry. Ive taught at kumon as a teaching assistant recently for currently about a year, and now, currently tutoring two p5 students and a sec 4 NA comb chem/bio student. Previously I was working with an N-Level student in Combined Biology for at least a month before N levels. When we first started, the student was hesitant to answer questions, both verbally and in writing. In just 2-3 weeks, they’ve become much more confident, actively engaging in lessons and even tackling difficult topics with success. Similarly, with the p5 students as well. Most practice questions are now answered correctly, showing how quickly my steady, constant support and my teaching methods can make a difference in your child's learning. Sec 4 student improvement: from failing or borderline passing booklet A for bio, scored approx. 15/20 for N level 2025 booklet A and she has scored from F9 to B3 in N levels just within a month P4 student improvement: from failing to passing recent booklet B section from student care. I focus on spotting where a student may be struggling and then break down those topics in a clear, concise way. I like using visuals, simplified notes, and constant questions to encourage active recall. I also make it a point to revisit past topics each lesson so that their foundation strengthens.
