Tutor’s Teaching Background

Graduate tutor with 8 years of teaching experience for groups and 1-to-1. Subjects I am teaching include Primary Math and Science. I always focus on fundamentals and methods. Following a guiding teaching style and always questioning and helping students develop critical thinking so they are able to face every question with confidence. So far, parents have feedback that their children have improved and gained more confidence in their studies. Many students under my guidance have improved tremendously with enough practice. My teaching style involves guiding them along questions and allowing them to attempt it after so that they can get to practice their critical thinking and allow them to absorb information better. Over the years of teaching, I have developed a keen eye on different types of mistakes a student can make and developed relevant practice and tips to prevent them. Ultimately as students start to do well in their tests, they will also start enjoying the subject more.
