Tutor’s Teaching Background

- I am a 29-year-old English major with a wealth of experience in the education industry. I’m patient and have taught several students from various backgrounds.

- Have experience tutoring primary and secondary students as private and centre tutors. There has been a noticeable improvement in my students’ grades within a year. Ranging from HA students to the foundation stream, I coached every single tutor while instilling a sense of pride and confidence in their linguistic ability. 

- 9 years of tutoring experience as a Full-Time English tutor both in private practice and in reputable tuition centres in Singapore, such as Mindstretcher, Edulearn, etc. I am currently a curriculum curator for some tuition centres and a tuition teacher in a tuition centre.

- Focuses heavily on grammar, sentence structuring, vocabulary and essay writing. I will walk through the grammar concepts and vocabulary words. For weaker students, I can create more straightforward sentences to allow students to understand better. Moreover, I’ll teach oral techniques and my teaching accordingly to different students.
