Tutor’s Teaching Background

Hi! I've taught private tuition since I was a JC student, all through my university days. I eventually enrolled in NIE and got my post graduate diploma in the teachings of English and History. I have about 8 years of private tutor experience and I am currently a MOE teacher for about 4.5 years in the Yishun area. While I am trained in the secondary school track, I am well versed with the PSLE syllabus and am equip to help your child/ ward build a strong English foundation which will come in handy in their PSLE and their secondary school period. Since I am a secondary school teacher, I can also continue to tutor your child when he/ she attends secondary school.  I've helped students jump at least 3 grades for their English and History subjects. I also won the caring teacher award in my school which serves as a testament that I am a nurturing and fun teacher to be around. Despite that, I am extremely strict with my students and tutee.
