Tutor’s Teaching Background
- I majored in history and political science at university with a BA before I went to medical school for my Doctorate of Medicine, which is currently on hiatus. - Fully bilingual. - I have 4 years of experience as a tutor. - From 2017 to 2019, and subsequently since the beginning of 2024, most of my students in Singapore had an average improvement of half a letter grade within a semester in English, Math and Science. From 2023 to 2024, most of my students in the United States improved by a GPA score of 0.5, which is a 5% improvement on average. . - I would tailor the lesson according to the student’s needs and abilities. - I have been teaching primary school and secondary school kids in Singapore, and elementary school and middle school kids in the United States since 2023, both in person and online. Previously, I tutored primary and secondary school kids in Singapore between 2017 to 2019 before I went to medical school. - I do have experience tutoring online, in fact I prefer it. So far I have used only Zoom.
