Tutor’s Teaching Background

I conducted a home-based Montessori homeschool from 2001-2007. I taught pre-schoolers the full Montessori curriculum which helps to build strong foundations in preparations for Primary School. I expanded my homeschool setting by starting an MOE registered private enrichment center from 2008-2012, where I was able to reach more children. Since then I have conducted childrens' camps and courses overseas and in local settings. 2013-till present I'm a tutor. My passion in teaching as been rekindled once again to help children reach their potentials. My drive is to teach children to be happy learners and to love learning. I do use engaging methods & materials to create the joy for learning phonics. Having the ability to understand that different children have unique learning styles and I usually use that to my advantage to create a successful session.
