Tutor’s Teaching Background

I started off teaching kindergarteners lego under Bricks4Kids, and have proceeded to teach secondary school students for two years, and majority of my students improve from a failing grade to an A or a B within the first two months. Students have remarked enjoying my lessons as they are fun and engaging, as I enjoy likening topics to real life scenarios. I am also very patient, ensuring that the student is able to understand everything at their own pace. I also allow the students to whatsapp / tele me if they have any burning questions without a need to wait for our scheduled lessons, as I believe that active learning helps them remember the answer better. I change up my teaching style to whichever best fits the student — be it one that is fast paced but repetitive over many lessons to help with long term recall, or slow and steady to ensure they have a strong foundation. I often draw up summary sheets that tackle the exact issue that the students often miss out on, ensuring they’re concise, precise and accurate.
