Tutor’s Teaching Background

Feb 2023 to Apr 2023 - Internship at SmartLab Education Private School  My internship involved handling administrative tasks and being a laboratory assistant cum teacher. I worked on curriculum development, aiding the teachers to formulate assignments tailored for optimal student learning. I also branched out to assist in digitalisation of the tuition, helping to create an IT system for student registration for ease of identification for students. I planned logistics movement and was in charge of inventory during the school’s renovation too, liasing with contractors. Moreover, I taught students the essential lab techniques and the theory behind them, carefully guiding them step by step to master the concepts and skills needed. I took note to identify common mistakes amongst students and corrected the errant reasoning to ensure maximum clarity in my teaching. I employed different techniques to complement my teaching such as using models and diagrams for better visualisation and learning .
