Tutor’s Teaching Background

I have taught one-on-one private tuition with primary and secondary students since my bachelor's studies in 2018. I have taught Primary 4-6 Math and Science, and Sec 1-2 G1/G2 Math. As I genuinely enjoy working with children (and still see myself as a child at heart), I go above and beyond my role as a tutor and build a friendly rapport with my students. I cater my teaching style to the learning needs of the student, breaking down complex concepts into simple, understandable analogies and ideas. I also enjoy incorporating creative activities or games into my lesson plans to enhance my students' understanding. Having taught online classes in different capacities (both private tutoring and volunteer teaching), I am highly experienced in using technology to deliver effective online classes.
